It wasn’t a regular new mobile launching event by Samsung. Which was at first expected by many users and specially for those who were thinking it’s a Galaxy S26 series reveal event. But no! Samsung kick started 2026 with some surprising innovations that focus on household electronics and a combination of AI.
With their “The First Look 2026” event that was held on 4th of January 2026, Samsung introduced “Companion to AI living” vision, showed various electronics, audio gears and of course deeply integrated with the AI ecosystem around all the product lineup.

There are incredible new TVs and monitors showcased by Samsung. Some of them are briefly explained below:
At first we had an enormous TV in front of the world, thanks to thanks for making such color technology for the next-generation. Even the design is called “Timeless Frame” for a reason, because it really looks super cool for your home entertainment.
There’s also the unveiling of a new ultra-thin OLED model for the 2026 lineup. Which is coming with a refined “LaserSlim” design along with fancy metal frame and ultra-thin bezels, meaning gamers will like it even more. Speaking of gaming, this TV will support 165Hz variable refresh rate or in other words VRR. Which literally says that Samsung was thinking about gamers too and not just movie lovers. This is where things get interesting, Samsung’s first AI-powered portable projector. There’s also OptiScreen technology use, which is an AI tool to give you 3D auto keystone, real-time focus and more. Viewing is great too, thanks to 430 ISO Lumens, making it twice as bright as the previous generation.
More good news for gamers, as Samsung reveals the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor, and they are calling it Odyssey 3D. Yes, like the upcoming Christopher Nolan’s movie Samsung is making headlines too with this monitor. Giving users a new type of lenticular lens on the panel of the TV and front-facing stereo camera with real-time eye tracking feature. This will give you a 3D effect without requiring any type of fancy headset.
This gaming monitor will also have a 6K resolution and a native 165Hz refresh rate, which can also be boosted to 330Hz at 3K resolution. AI touch is still here, because this monitor will use AI to analyze and convert standard 2D video content into real-time 3D experience. Samsung also said in the event, that they are collaborating with major game studios to optimize titles for this display specifically, including “The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture, and Stellar Blade”.
An all-in-one unit that washes and dries without requiring clothes to be moved between drums.
A robot vacuum and mop that uses an Active Stereo 3D Sensor for navigation and can function as a home security monitor.
Features “Auto Wrinkle Care” to automatically smooth garments using steam jets.
Software & Services
Integrated across the 2026 TV lineup to provide conversational search, recipe recommendations, and features like AI Soccer Mode Pro (which can isolate crowd noise from commentary).
Besides AI electronics, Samsung also promised seven years of operating system support for its new smart TVs. Making users have greater experience for further.
A new initiative utilizing data from wearables to detect subtle changes in mobility and speech that may indicate early-stage cognitive decline.
