Nothing has been working on something awesome from the last couple of months. To be specific their Phone (3a) will have a fresh new look by using their fan made designs. The problem is, not everyone can’t have it, as of Nothing, only 1000 units will be made and you have to register within Dec 11, 2025 to get it on your hands before others does.

This unique project was announced back in March of 2025. Among the 700 submissions few winner’s work was chosen in terms of design, software, accessories and “visual storytelling”.

The winners name of Nothing Phone 3a community edition are, Sushruta Sarkar for the marketing campaign, Emre Kayganacl for hardware design, Jad Zock for the customizing the lock screen, clock, wallpaper design and two people worked accessories who is Amrogio Tacconi & Louis Aymond. And they didn’t just do these iconic projects alone, Nothing’s own in-house teams have been over the last few months to make this awesome project into reality.

Overall hardware design is solely inspired by 90s and early 2000s aesthetics, and it looks refreshing at first glance. Accessory is a box of dice, which features numbers that shows Nothing Ndot 55 font.

As per Nothing, the newly designed clock has a custom face which looks soothing for your eyes and intuitively guides you to key components. For wallpaper lovers, there’s also an exclusive wallpaper designed to have both rear and front characteristics of the device. 

You have been waiting for the specs I know. Well the Nothing Phone 3a community edition has the same specifications like the previously released 3a, which means you will get 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Will have a similar processor, which is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm.

As for camera you will get a triple rear camera system, a 50MP main with OIS, 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom capability, 8MP ultrawide lens and a 32Mp selfie shooter. For battery life, there’s 5000mAh capacity with 50W wired charging. As for memory info, there will be 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Price of Nothing Phone 3a community edition will be  ₹28,999 / ¥59,800 / £379 / €379.
