Your next upcoming iPhone 18 might have a bigger battery, meaning you will be getting longer gaming and movie watching than ever. As per a rumor, iPhone 18 Pro series will be the ones Apple introduce improved batteries.
A renowned tipster called Digital Chat Station said, quote “Chinese variant iPhone 18 Pro” will come with a 4,056mAh capacity, while for the US model, it’s said to hold a larger 4,288mAh. That’s like almost a 6% jump in capacity and useful more hours of juice.
That was made possible from last year’s iPhones as well, as Chinese region iPhones included a physical SIM slot instead of eSIM only, where in the US there’s only eSIM option to get.
There is still no confirmation of latest iPhone 18 coming with physical SIM in the US market this year. That is exactly why Apple could include a larger battery.
Apple used the same strategy last year. As that decision helped Apple to remove the physical SIM tray and include a greater battery inside on all US region iPhones. And you literally got 4,252mAh for the US models, while the iPhone 17 Pro for the Chinese market had only 3,988mAh capacity.
As of now, iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max are expected to be released in September this year. All we just have to do now is wait and get the bigger battery iPhones of this year.
